Bloemencorso, or “flower parade,” is an annual tradition in which massive sculptures and floats are created out of flowers. The tradition started in 1936, and has become one of the most celebrated flower events. Bloemencorso takes place in the small Dutch town of Zundert. Nearly fifty-thousand visitors travel to the Netherlands to witness this breath-taking parade of blooms. Each of the competing districts of Zundert construct an entry and compete in the parade. Zundert was also the home of Vincent Van Gogh. Take a look at the beautifully crafted floats below!
